Lifestyle habits such as poor diet, aging, stress, sleep issues, and the use of drugs or alcohol can speed up the decline in NAD+ levels, hence the aging process. On the reverse, things like high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts, intermittent fasting diets, and caloric restriction can raise the levels of NAD in your body.
